Established: June 15, 1968

Nutan Mahavidyalaya, Selu was established on June 15, 1968, within the premises of Nutan Vidyalaya, Selu. In a relatively short span, the college has earned a prominent reputation at the state level in Maharashtra for its academic excellence and commitment to holistic development.

Management and Legacy

The college is managed by Nutan Vidyalaya Shikshan Sanstha, founded in 1939 by freedom fighters of Selu under the guidance of Brahmibhoota Swami Ramanand Teerth. The Sanstha made a significant contribution to India’s freedom struggle, especially during the Marathwada Mukti Sangram, and continues to uphold Gandhian ideals of truth, simplicity, and self-reliance.

Nutan Vidyalaya Shikshan Sanstha is a pioneering educational institution in the Marathwada region of Maharashtra, offering comprehensive education from pre-primary (KG) to post-graduate (PG) levels. The Sanstha recently celebrated its Platinum Jubilee, marking 75 years of impactful service to society through education.

Campus History

The college was relocated to its current premises on Jintoor Road, Selu, on June 15, 1970. A memorable moment in the institution's history was the visit of Swami Ramanand Teerth during the construction of the new campus.
